Burmilla Information

The result of a Burmese and Chinchilla cross is the Burmilla breed which are found to be a lovable young hybrid cat. They are always termed as ideal lap cats because of their soft nature. The standard breed is found to the have the following type of body shape and nature. They have a round wedged shaped head, with muscular structured body.

They have large and clear eye outlines with green colored eyes. These cats have a straight back and rounded chest. The Burmilla’s ears are medium in size and can be large in size with a rounded tip.

The fact is that females are generally smaller than the males is usually correct but for the Burmilla breed females and males are usually the same size.

Their legs are very strong and slender; the back legs are slightly longer when compared with the front pair of legs. The legs end with an oval shaped paw. An adult Burmilla cat will weight approximately 8 to 10 pounds.

They are available in various colors but in addition to that they tend to a haveĀ  a silver lining beneath its outermost cover, giving it that silky silver coat. The common colors in which they are available is black, lilac, blue, chocolate, cream etc.
