Burmilla cats have a medium body size with a wedge shaped head and with large ears. The eyes are usually almond or oval shaped.<span> </span>These cats have long body and legs that are in proportion to the length of the body. These cats are fine boned with a long and beautiful bushy tail.</span></p>

The eyes are sometimes amber color and may have tortoise eye color which is also accepted for breed standards. The coat of its fur is short,silky smooth. the undercoat is very dense. The forehead has faint markings or tiger stripped in a silver tone. Some similar markings are also seen on the legs as well.</span></p>
